Body in case you have more than a moment to read, in previous entries I told you about the concerts I plan to see in upcoming months (and if you know of good new music, please pass it along) and I explained why you might be seeing an add request and as is my habit, generally rambled on...

listening to Meg and Dia (as usual these days), I spent the large part of this weekend just lounging around glancing up at the TV my roommates were watching (college football and music) and wandering around myspace sending out add requests... maybe you got one...

well, in case you are wondering about why I asked you to add me this weekend (and you don't have time to read the other entry linked above), let's see... while some of the add requests are rather random and impulsive, most are because I found you through a band I like and liked something about your myspace... a quote or a positive word or an image or similar tastes in music is enough for me to want to add you and hope for time to read more...

so maybe I found you at Meg and Dia's (who have a lot of my attention lately, even more than Spill Canvas did last month and Nada Surf the month before and The Mars Volta before that) or maybe I found you at The Waterboys, 30 Seconds to Mars, Harry Chapin (very representative of old and new favorites) or any of other great bands/artists I visited today... and you probably wrote a few positive words and inspired me to want to know you... or maybe I was mesmerized by your eyes or lusted for your lips (and hope you have a sense of humor)...

I don't suppose you'll add me if you don't huh?...

I'm also exploring the local music scene in Toronto because I used to live there and loved the local music scene there... and I wandered through the Rainbow Gathering and Burning Man sites too... so if you got any sort of queasy feeling about a stranger sending you an add request, hopefully this eases the queasies... I don't want anything more than to share a smile, some positivity, and whatever we both might want to share from there (and if that's nothing at all, that's cool too, I heard it is possible to enjoy life without me in it... nudge nudge, wink, wink)...

but just look at the self-mockery you'd miss J

that smiley face should have been a picture of Wacko Warner with his tongue out... anyway... just in case you do want to know more about me, I ramble almost daily behind the candoor and I share some of life's mundane details with friends in RealTime... and then there are a lot of other places I ramble and rhyme... or you could just ask (my number is on the btc page)...

I am alive to enjoy life and when I have time I am on myspace to enjoy the sharing we can find here... so thanks for adding me if you did and either way, I hope you enjoy your time online and off and remember to pass along the positivity in thought, action, and music... and if you find yourself in Orlando and think we could enjoy talking to each other and spending a little time together, give me a call...
