more to follow later yesterday the seven mile trail, today the sleep and writing and movie... not enough time for the trail... but catching up and keeping up with my journaling is just as important to my health as the exercise, so it has to be ok... for now... I have been lazy about keeping an exercise log... maybe I don't want to actually record how out of shape I am... maybe I am waiting for that 10 minute mile... maybe I am just being lazy... maybe there's just no time to do the journaling I already want to do... must find more writing time... push the limits are work?... we shall see... Helen and Rasputin and his girlfriend (did I mention Raspy has a girlfriend?... probably not, but they've been seeing each other a while now... great for him, though it means even less time for getting together as he's still working 70+ hours a week, at least... he gets every other weekend off, but he's making about twice what I make so when he finds time and energy to enjoy it, he can enjoy more expensive fun now... I wonder how much that has to do with finding a girlfriend... you might wonder, how does a guy who works so much and barely goes out find a girlfriend?... he didn't have to look far, she works for the same company he works for... different shifts though, so they survive) J anyway, the four of us went to see Catch Me If You Can at the dinner theater... liked the movie, lousy dinner service... so lousy, in fact, that only a couple of free passes kept us in our seats... it's the first time I've not left a tip in... many years... I don't remember the last time I didn't leave at least some tip... bt the movie was fun and I had leftovers at home and since my dear friends are not nearly night owls, the evening was over early... if it wasn't raining I might have wandered downtown, but it rained most of the weekend and Saturday night was part of the weekend rains... I really need to find some nighttime friends since I am basically nocturnal... a girlfriend might be a nice idea too... hello Orlando? J |
