so far behind more to follow later I was watching Enterprise tonight and wondering why I have skipped the show since it's been on... could be the same reason I skip most shows, I'm not around the TV during prime time and I prefer to make my own decisions, rather than have network marketers make them for me... part of it is the natural rebel in me who walks away from anything popular until it stops being the focus of collective consciousness... but there's more at work with this... cold be that I'm doing something else on Saturday nights, but it's prbably on other times during the week too, being a UPN show... the fact that my roommate doesn't watch it and he usually controls the remote as I'm less interested in watching and I am usually siting and typing when I am in the living room... the TV is background for me... but tonight I see this very attractive Vulcan and wonder why she hasn't attracted me to watching this show as she definitely has the body type that is most atractive to me... and I like Scott Bakula too, used to watch Quantum Leap in reruns (though I had to ignore all the high moral ground preaching that show did)... and after an hour of watching I realize that the story sucks... it is contrived and totally illogical... a few timid settlers scaring off Klingons and Klingons giving up and going away from a fight?... the Klingon character and honor would demand satisfaction, blow the whole dang planet out of existence... and then giving the schematics of the Enterprise to a kid on this desolate planet (yeah, the Klingons will go away and not be back) like the kid can protect the information or as if it's on for anyone to have the schematics of the ship?... dumb... that Vulcan is very sweet to look at, especiall in that toight fitting body suit, but she's not enough to get me to see through the script flaws... so what else is new today?... J |
