...THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE...
so far behind more to follow later it has become obvious that live journal is not a reliable site for writing an online journal... the first few entries I wrote there, in ther words the initial impetus, the seeds for the ideas that would be the creation that the journal would have been there, were deleted by the server... so I moved ahead tentatively with the journal there and today, again, it tried to eat a long and personally very meaningful entry... luckily, at the last second, I thought to cut and past what I wrote there and save it elsewhere... and from now on I will not write on the site, but simply cut and paste into the site... I recommend anyone using Live Journal to do the same... or use a client software, I suppose... but the fact that there is no warning before you are permitted to get to the test entry page and you are allowed to type for hours and pour out what may be life-altering or life-saving cathartic words that the words and the record of your thoughts and feelings and revelations will not be saved... that is a major flaw in the Live Journal site that now has me recommending against it for a journal site... and I am a paid up full member at the site... I hope that someday they get it together and realize the words, saving the words, is what journalling is all about... all that said (of course in the heat of frustration that comes from remembering actally losing words), I'm including the link to Live Journal as I ramble on about this because they deserve the plug and I will probably continue using the site as I have two journals there and there is a huge community and I'm hoping to find others like me (there must be others like me somewhere, no matter what my mother said)... so lighten up, will I?...
