this intro was inspired by a questionnaire sent through one of the online groups I did not create actually, it's an online club called Ms. Cupid's Singles Link (no joke) J Hi :) I'm working too much these days to be online enough to visit websites... I barely have enough time to download email about once a week (I get your club through email)... I had a day off and scanned messages and want to send some applause for the effort you put into bringing people together... it's always been a rewarding thing for me to do too (I've publised a couple of snail mail distributed "meeting" magazines over the years :) at the moment I'm in Orlando with few friends (good friends, but few) no time to find any since I got here) and when I walk away from work and can keep my eyes open, the loneliness is not much fun... I have hundreds of online communities to wander through (some of my own creation, some not), but life offline is relatively empty... also at the moment I'm in transit looking for an apartment (and preferably roommate), so being unsettled and staying with friends or in my wagon when I'm too tired to drive across town doesn't help matters either (finding a roommate should be my first priority... near UCF if you happen to know anybody :) honesty is my highest ideal and truth is my faith... innocence is my way and curiosity my primary motivation... a desire to share is why I am alive... I am usually told I am too intense, too silly, too serious, too heavy, too irreverent, or too something by most people... I'm not looking for most people... I simply (or complexly, depending upon perspective) wish to experience every moment as much as this body and mind will allow with as little harm as possible... there's a brief introduction to ric... oh yeah, ric candor is my name... I love words and writing and music and honest people and animals and serious fun and laughter and true love and emotions and food and exercise and most of life... more than anyone ever asks about me is posted on the web (in somewhat cartoonish tongue and cheek form sometimes... I am a child inside and I nurture the fun and innocent aspects of me and of life... I mean no harm and I figure if someone isn't going to take the time to see through my sense of humor then they don't need to be contacting me in the first place :) here's some answers to the questions... consider that I am a momentary being and many of the answers would be different tomorrow :) Here it is again for those that missed it last time.... To know each other better, Cut and paste and post them:) WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? sadly, I haven't had time for sci-fi novels or stories I'd like to read lately due to work so right now besides this questionnaire I am reading email, lots and lots of email :) WHATS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? I don't have a mousepad, I had a little rubber thingy in the middle of my laptop keyboard... someday I will have a mousepad again... FAVORITE BOARD GAME? the challenge is picking one... I love trivia games... also love Candyland and Life... I used to like Risk and Monopoly some, but haven't played in ages... I miss playing games... I wonder if Mattel is hiring :) FAVORITE MAGAZINE? in the 80s I subscribed to about 150 magazines and at that time my favorites were National Lampoon, Writer's Digest, Consumer Reports, Verbatim, Rolling Stone, and Playboy... but my favorite was Paper Fantasies, a small magazine I pubished from my home... these days, I don't have enough time for magazines to choose a favorite... FAVORITE SOUNDS? unrestricted laughter (especially children), music, water movements, weather, silence, and the sound of an honestly uninhibited orgasm... WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD? watching someone I love in pain... losing contact with someone I love... WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING? usually whomever or whatever I see/touch/smell/hear/or taste first... ROLLER COASTER...SCARY OR EXCITING? good fear is exciting... HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? varies from less than one to letting the machine pick up... FUTURE DAUGHTER'S NAME? it'll take two people to decide this... FAVORITE FOODS? according to my taste buds: chocolate, pizza (and pasta and most Italian), pineapple, banana, and most fruits, seafood, most ethic flavors, especially Chinese, asparagus, broccoli, most veggies, and moist spiced meat dishes... meats, especially dry meats would be last on the list... my taste buds have minimal health consciosness :) according to the rest of my brain: fruits, veggies, and less spicy pasta and fish dishes... I love food because I love all of the senses this body provides... I love food more when I exercise daily :) DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE FAST? love to drive, fast or slow... DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL? not even a pillow... STORMS-COOL OR SCARY? I love storms from a relatively safe vantage point, the wilder the better... WHAT TYPE WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? first I drove: Buick Wildcat first I owned: Ford Fairlane and Chevy Malibu IF YOU COULD MEET ONE PERSON DEAD OR ALIVE? Harry Chapin FAVORITE DRINK? water, chocolate milk, pineapple juice, mountain dew... WHAT IS YOUR ZODIAC SIGN? aries, or so I've been told... DO YOU EAT THE STEMS OF BROCCOLI? yes... IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY JOB YOU WANTED, WHAT WOULD IT BE? full time parent... IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY COLOR? no preference... EVER BEEN IN LOVE? yes... FAVORITE MOVIES? a momentary flash through this brain finds: Hook, Princess Bride, Wizard of Oz, Ghost, ET, Sleepless in Seattle, City of Angels, Terminator 2, Short Circuit, Big, and a few dozen more on the tip of my tongue... A LEFTY OR A RIGHTY? righty, mostly... DO YOU TYPE WITH YOUR FINGERS ON THE RIGHT KEYS? sumtymes... WHAT'S UNDER YOU BED? dreams...
