...THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE...
please allow me to introduce myself no wealth, no fame, but still I love the song and hope you don't mind (and if you don't know they song I've either been alive a long time {sometimes it feels like forever, but I didn't write the very first song... have sympathy} or you're not into music too deeply {the road is long, the rivers are wide and many to cross with many a winding turn, but you're not heavy, really, you can lean on me... accept sympathy}, or both {and win or lose, but and still somehow, it's all an illusion anyway... share sympathy} and a devilish wink to those who understand {and a nod wink bat to those who don't}, aye?)... anyway... this is to be a brief introduction and if the introductory paragraph of this brief introduction is any demonstration, uh-oh... as Austin Powers might say, you're in for it now, baby... I might even wake up one of these nights (one of these crazy lost and lonely nights) and then you'll find out, won't you? start again... a long long time ago I wrote and edited and re-wrote and re-edited (a lot) an intoduction to me... I don't have it right now... it may be in storage... in any case, here's another much briefer introduction to me that I wrote today... tomorrow I'll probably edit it again since it's a new day :) but before I get started (can we at least all moan in harmony?)... I'd just like to let you know that I've got a kind of intro on the web that tells more about me... I mean, if this isnt enough for you... you can find it here... can we start the introduction now?... briefly (yeah right, like I might ever stop babbling... and maybe you've figured out by now that {omigosh, he's telling, look out}, the babbling is as much an introduction as anything I might write directly and seriously if you can find the clues and read between the lines {and parentheses} and all that jazz), I love music so most anything that involves music is usually fun for me (even slipping lyrics obscurely into my babbling, perhaps)... my interests are varied, so I'll try a list type introduction for you - writing, films, sports, books, singing, chocolate, computers, running & exercise, health, nature, animals, people, kids, pizza, photography, theatre (love the energy), theme parks, travelling, games, pool, cooking, dancing, electronic toys, romantic comedy, irreverence, sexual & sensual experiences, science, art, sociology, psychology, ecology, anthropology, Dr Suess, science fiction, Stephen King, rebels with healthy causes, childrens stories, all-you-can-eat buffets, and I'm leaving out many favorites... mostly I want to share fun comfortable times... I love to learn, teach, help others, and explore new experiences, places and things... and I seldom fix typos in friendly mail J and now I'll try a philosophical approach to introductions... my highest ideal is honesty and my strongest faith is in innocence (defined as honesty without harm, as opposed to ignorance or inexperience or anything specific to do with youth)... I do my best to actualize my ideals in all I do... my driving force and reason for living is a desire to share and curiosity... I am as open as I can be because I am here to share and hiding or denial is the antithesis of sharing... I can be (and have been, relatively recently even) more intense and focused than anyone I've yet to me wishes to deal with, rave well past sunrise, and vege as aimlessly as any street 'bum'... I've given most facets of my personality time to develop, even the extreme ones (and somehow I still come up smiling... though many don't think I'm smiling when I do) J . o O ( wow... two whole serious brief introductory paragraphs ) O o . it's more challenging to write a comprehensive and representative bio than it is to just answer specifics so if you're into anything specific let me know and I'll let you know how I feel about it... these days my focus is to try to find some real friends ('real' is redundant, but I hope you know what I mean)... other than fun and social activities, I'm close to needing to go back to income producing work (as opposed to all the voluntary work I do these days), so I'm very open to (and encouraging you to send) information about job opportunities... so maybe it's time for me to update my resume?... well for now, for here, I'll try a summary of work experience introductory paragraph... I'm very flexible and might try anything that interests me... my primary experience has been in management in New York City (so I can do anything, ya know), health care mostly... I also was a supervising EMT in an emergency room as (once upon a time in the army in California {now that's a long strange trip}, that really did prove to me I could handle anything), a supervisor and account manager for a building services company in Buffalo, NY... along the way I also took a break from a formal career path and published my own small magazines out of my house in Loughman, FL and I was a house-dad-nanny for a family in Toronto... and I explored a few other jobs along the way... just like college, I majored in 7 different things... did I mention I love to learn?... I'm looking for something that will offer me a challenge and a learning experience - ideally in a friendly and non-pretentious environment (but the dreamer knows how to compromise)... so let's see, I've listed interests, waxed philosophically, and rambled on about work... so what else goes into a brief introduction? (besides more babble)... other stuff I do with my time?... I love helping people, so that's what I'm usually doing when I'm not in love and living a romantic dream (did I mention I can be a hopelessly hopeful romantic?)... on the web, I manage many different email groups that I created in the hope of helping people... offline, I was elected VP of a local computer club which takes up a lot of time (wanna get involved?)... and I'm helping a bit with a Christmas Party for Autistic Children (that hasn't taken much time yet)... and mostly I'm looking for friends as I build a new life in Orlando, Florida... and there's a small taste of who I am... much more than anyone really wants to know can be found on my website (with lots more to come... the dreamer in me figures 'the one' {all I've ever needed, to quote Bernie Taupin via Elton John} who falls in love with me will find me and love all the words... and one day I would like to fall in love again, so if you know any real, honest, innocent, alive, energized, kind, adorable, petite, athletic, sensually intense people (told you I was a dreamer... I also like to tease and laugh at myself), pass along my number, address, website, whatever J and really truly most seriously of all, if you think we could be friends, call anytime (and if you think you know somebody else who might relate to me, share me J well... it was supposed to be brief J * a friend is a stranger waiting to be met * * a friend is a stranger wanting to be met * * a friend is a stranger willing to be met * READ WRITE CALL MORE INTROS MORE BIOS or CLICK YOU BACK BUTTON TO RETURN TO THE PAGE YOU CAME FROM (or click on one of the links below) AND I HOPE ENJOY YOUR TIME HERE, THERE, AND EVERYWHERE J WANT LIST E-GROUPS WHAT'S NEW WORKLIFE KIT LIFETIMES JOURNALS HEARTBEATS FAREWELL |
